  • Very interesting piece! I sometimes wear a pin to put my hair up, and I can imagine the movement Eva describes (which is a bit strange wehen you are not used to having sth. dangle from your head :-)).

  • It would most likely be used centrally on the forehead as a scarf pin. I do like the picture you portray, Eva.

    These days they are worn mostly in traditional dance displays so - yes - it would fly around a bit!

    This is a particularly nice one with all the tughra marks on the coins.
