Lovely variety of Ethiopian beads Eva. I look forward to the finished product!
@Thanks a lot Chantal, I bought already the wool I want to use, wonderful colour (have seen a necklace with this colour on AD and it looked great).
Are you going to use beads or coloured stones as well ?
@Chantal, I have no idea yet! Actually the Ethiopian necklaces made of this kind of pendants that I have seen do not use beads or stones, they are just on a thread made of black leather or wool (twisted, usually black, but I have seen this violet type on AD and found it smashing! So I want to try that, already bought the dark violet wool (amethyst colour). I need a quiet evening alone, in order to try out how to create the thread (string), I have some ideas, but need to try it out first..........
You have great items to start your design with, Eva.
thanks a lot Frankie, I got the squares ones today first (from Akkie), and some hours later the little ones from Hillary in Tucson......... At the moment it looks like this....(the background are fresh cola nuts that a friend brought today from the NIger).
