  • Nice repair job on this beautiful hamsa. The  twisted wire on the bezels is unusual.

  • Thank you Toya, This was my first repair job ever that involved replacing coral.  I matched the color and cut the size down and then filed, filed, filed and sanded, sanded, sanded!  I thought that this hamsa was unusual due to the of cabochons on it.  It also has a silver rosette overlay.

  • It is lovely, and worth the effort to do the repair. The coral looks identical.

  • that looks great! You did a wonderful job! Lucky that you had a matching size coral available (or at least almost matching size)!

  • Very nice, Hillary. I didn't see it in its "before" condition, but it certainly looks very good "after".

  • Great job! I saw the "after" repair photo first and then looked for the "before". I could not have guessed which coral you replaced...

  • Have now found "before" as well - and am the more impressed by your success!
