Mustaf, warm pieces of bangles, but you call them Libyan but we have exactly the same in Ethiopia from good quality silver. Several of them are also cut open as many of them were small size and so they open them in order them continueously wear them. Gr, Ingrid.
Thank you Ingrid for the comment and also for the information offered. It is interesting to me to know that these bangles are also used in Ethiopia. As you know jewellery travel a lot and may be through history these were used in Ethiopia as well as Libya.. These bangles were marked in Tripoli, therefore I called them Libyan meaning they are crafted in Libya..Plus I did know that these are used in Ethiopia as well . Thanks for the information. It will be nice if you have a photo of one of the Ethiopian bangles just for my interest.
