  • I agree with Mustafa, Betty. Beautiful and it looks so complete. Can you wear it?

  • Thank you Thelma and Mustafa!

Yes, I can wear it. It's actually quite comfortable to wear and looks great with a black silk blouse/top.

The bells are complete, but I reckon some have been replaced over time. The piece was acquired in Ethiopia earlier this year.

  • Lovely Muria Betty, good find,  soft and well worn.  Especially to be found this year, even the bells complete. Congratualtions. Gr. Ingrid.

  • Thank you, Ingrid. I am very happy about this find...Have pleasant week! Betty

  • Congratulations Betty!  This is very beautiful and hard to find.

  • Thank you, Lynn. I was offered this piece at a very reasonable price and didn't hesitate a moment :-)

  • Just found a pic in A. Fisher's "African Ark" showing a lady from Harar town wearing a quite similar choker necklace I wanted to share with the Ethiopia enthusiasts ...2506030672?profile=original
