  • Wonderful pieces. They look substantial and delicate at the same time. Love them. Where exactly do they hail from?

  • Really beautiful pieces, Preethi. i can see you spent your time well in India.

  • A fascinating pair, never seen a pair similar to these, the base compares with the more shown off but the floral additions very strong.  But as they have links, I would think them to be more a pair of anklets rather than bracelets.  Also as these types are mostly worn on the upper arm wouldn.t the flower buds be very uncomfortable to be under your arms? So Preethi, besides beeing beautiful what are they?

  • Spectacular!

  • Amazing bracelets preethi

  • Thanks everyone.

Betty, these are most likely Rajasthani.

Ingrid, these are bracelets worn at the wrist, not on the upper arm or foot. Bracelets with two hinges are often seen in Indian jewellery. These are small - 5.1 cm inner diameter, and are great for holding other bracelets in place.

    They weigh 300 grams together.

  • Thank you Preethi.  Nice and clear explanation. They are really spectacular.

  • Lotus buds?

I can also see Rajhastani feature

    Nice find

  • These are gorgeous, never seen anything like them, what a treat for the eye!
