Hi there I am just wondering if anyone could give me some idea of these necklaces which I bought knowing nothing about this Afghan/Turkman? jewellery, age or rarity. Can anyone please enlighten me? I would be very grateful
my own research says Yomud Turkmenistan. Its all good silver except the bells. Im guessing early 20th C
Hello Cordelia, I agree with Yomud Turkoman. This style of necklace is normally a pectoral, with many rows of the central plaque, one on top of another.
