A superb collection becomes a useful work of art! Fabulous!
what a wonderful piece of art and work!!!! Absolutely gorgeous.... lucky those, who can afford it.
drop dead gorgeous!!!!!
@it is really unique (who would have this idea to make a bag like this, except Faouzi). Marie-Ange please do not drop dead, we still need you... smile
@ Eva no I won't but I can kick myself that I did not buy an original water carier bag in marrakech when we were there, I asked one of these men to sell it to me and offered him $250 and he accepted but my husband said I bought enough already ( and he was very right, all our money was spend!!) so I had to let it go........have been thinking about such a bag ever since.
Wow, 250 dlrs, is that not too much? I remember the water carriers in Marrakech, but not their bags.. Perhaps you can go back there, or someone can bring you one, or you find it on Ebay.......for less than this price. Must be quite a fantastic piece that you are willing to pay this for one. Considering the Kamsa bag with all these Kamsas that have their price for each, it will no doubt be quite costly.
Hi Eva, no that was a good price have a look at an original water bag on Ebay and the price!! 360306475358
I am sure this bag from Faouzi has 3 zero's in the price with all these khamsa.
@Marie-Ange, I looked at it, it is gorgeous!!!! But the price - out of my reach! I had no idea that they have such wonderful bags with all the coins and charms on it! I realize now, that 250 dlrs would have been a very good price for you!
It is a wonderful bag and I would have loved to buy it but we spend soooo much money it was just not possible anymore ;(((
Maybe inshallah one day I will own one.
back from the watercarrier bags to this one - I looked at it again, it is also a beautiful photo with the light falling on the Kamsa withh the salamander. Very nice, the light adds a golden touch to it.
