Reverse side of center disc.
I like this simple and elegant version very much, especially because the silver is wonderfully worn. Congratulations, Peter.
This is such a special necklace- so work and loved with amazing patina and wear. I really like the center pendant with its floral design and intricacies on the reverse.
Dear Peter, a million thanks for all the photos you have shared via this site. While I'm travelling in Oman, they are a wonderful resource, and help set a benchmark - very valuable when looking through piles and piles of silver :)
Indeed, those side discs are wonderful. I also think that the koranic verse on the back, written in concentric circles looks wonderful - haven't come across one of that type yet.
Dear Preethi: Many thanks for your message. Oh, piles of silver... I have purchased this particular unit in Nizwa. I did not buy much in Nizwa but mostly in Muttrah. Anyhow, I am sure that you will come across a necklace with a beautifully inscribed disc somewhere during your trip. I wish you good luck. With kind regards. Peter
