Belt - Ottoman

A very rare belt - solid silver sheet with gilding and engraved pattern. The gilding can still be seen on the back and part of the buckle. I had quite some challenges taking this photo. Therefore, I have used a rubber band to hold the belt together....

  • Dear Betty; You observe very well indeed! Yes, I believe that it is a garnet. There is also some sort of enamel at the back of the center decoration - very unusual. Meanwhile, the belt has again it's own way ... for the moment. Warm regards. Peter
