Absolutely wonderful....i can't surmise on age but i very much like animal material being used in jewelry
i know them from Mauritania. not horn not animal, 10 % ebony wood, i can t recognise from the photo. 90 % another meterial. i can say it is that material
yes ayis, but not from the gazelle in this way. the gazelle horn is not larger than 3 cm. it is a verry good work, i know thus bracelets and still have semilar, they are always in good quality any one you get
Ayis and Ait, I just assumed that such pieces were made with horn, but it could be wood of course. The piece wasn't new but not terribly old either. It was cleaned at purchase. What should I look for to get an idea of the material used? Thanks!
this is at least 6 mm thick and 6 cm large. there is no horn in this dimensions. horn is not uni colored , if polished, will be shining if not, you see like grey color
i have some, if i make photos, you will see get more infos about this kind of bracelets.
i have them somewhere in seller, if i have time next days, i ll make you photos
