TIBET, "Mala", buddhist rosary with 108 prayerbeads made of human bones to emphazise the transitoriness of life. The partition beads are made of amber, turquoise and cornelian. The locket with the zodiac, the signet and other beads are brass and silver.

  •  This is a nice old original mala  , like we used to find being  used and  or shopped  when we visited  Himalayan regions in the 70's and ealry 80's.
