  • WOW - This is beautiful Ingrid. Congratulations. Peter

  • I really like this Ingrid. Simple and yet so much detailed work. Such expertise embodied in the pendant.

  • This is lovely Ingrid. What is it called? Where is it from?

  • Hallo Nada, Peter and Thelma, thank you for the compliment.  The whole explanation of this refined piece little choker from Ethiopia  is done on the accompanied previous photo.

The beading is done by the previous owner herself. Most probably from Tigrai, Gondar or Harrar.

Where chokers (muria's were worn). GR. Ingrid

  • that is really nice!  Like it a lot! Such a pleasure to see. Sorry, I am not so often on Ethnic Jewels anymore, as I am too busy with my photographic activities.

  • Hi
Eva, thank you  it is a lovely piece.  It is alrright that you take a bit of a Sabbatical leave from Ethnic Jewels, but we expect some lovely pictures , of course. Gr. Ingrid.

  • A wonderful and special necklace that I have never seen before.  Thank you for sharing your collection Ingrid!

  • Hi Lynn, you have seen that this is made by the first owner?  Like I wrote in an earlier passage, click on the previous foto above this foto and you will see my first explanation. Gr. Ingrid and thank you for your ever positive comments.

  • I did, and enjoyed the description very much.  A wonderful piece and more treasured that the first owner made it herself.
