Head Ornament - Yemen

When following the Lecture on Yemeni Jewelry by Mrs Marjorie Ransom, these ornaments were fastened on the head dress and showed that it was a married women. Only one ornament was worn - they did not come in pairs.

  • A stunning arrangement.  I love how at the bottom the triangle shapes are held by wire so they stay fanned out.  Is this a high silver or a low silver?  Congratulations!!
