Hi All,
The mix between floral and geometric designs is a bit of a puzzle to me.
I've posted this on the Ethnic Jewels Community facebook page and gotten some good information. The opinions on the origins of this bracelet seem to be split between Oman, Pakistan, and Southern Arabia...of of which seem plausible. I'm hoping that someone in this fine group can offer additional information. This does not appear to be an upper arm adornment, the interior diameter is 6cm. Good silver, no rattle. Thanks!
Fabulous piece, Annie. Unfortunately I cannot ad much in terms of ID-ing. Maybe a Baluch piece? The flower appliqué certainly reminds me of jewelry from Paktistan and Afghanistan. I am curious to learn more...
