  • Love these. do this come from the mountains towards yemen or the red sea coastal plain?

  • Dear Alaa;
    Many thanks for your message.
    I understand that they come from the mountainous region towards Yemen.
    With kind regards.

  • Dear Peter, what a gorgeous set of belt and temporal ornaments.  I have seen these as part of a richly adorned costume from Bani Sa'ad people of Taif.

  • Thanks Lynn. I would need the necklace of this lady though... I will search for it! Having said that, Taif is located in the Mecca province in Saudi's south western mountains. Hence, very far from where I live. With kind regards. Peter
  • Love these!

  • Love it!!

  • Love this set.  The domes on the beaded belt does look so much like the breast telsums of Ethiopia.

    Which do have three loops on the back through which glass beads are fixed in order to make it a head band. GR. Ingrid.

  • Beautiful !
