Hallo Peter, I can understand why this is one of your favrite. Quite constrasting, the refined fillegrain work with the well suited links, the tassles all a bit feminin and than as a contrasted with a rather fierce looking clasp almost the shield mark of Germany , the eagle. All done by a very high standard skilled artisan. Well you really know how to get hold of these beauties. You set your standards . Thank you for showing. GR. Ingrid. Peter I dont dare to ask but still do, is it silver guilded or gold???
Dear Ingrid; Many thanks for your message - much appreciated. It is gilded silver, however, the gilding is excellent! With kind regards. Peter
Thank you Peter.
Hello Peter. Do you know if this was a man's belt? I ask because of the Coat of Arms on the buckle(which also gives a dating: 1882-1922). Best greetings, JM.
