Algeria or Morocco? Silvered, enamel, round one (diam: 5,5cm high: 3,5cm). Real coral stones, other boxes have bakelite or plastic stones. The double one has also a blue glass-stone.

    these look very Moroccan to me. I expect they were made in Agafay near to Tarroudant.

    you may find that the coral is in fact treated glass..

  • Thank you for your comment Eva Lea, I always learn from posting pictures of items. I hope other people can learn about it too! It is suprising to see  different opinions. 
  • Yes, we all learn... I did not know much (or nothing) about Moroccon jewellery...and bought some bracelets via an Internet seller..which then turned out to be "cheap tourist stuff". So I try to look at the examples here and improve my knowledge..
