  • Thank you Peter . These beads are most probably like you described them to be wooden beads , knowing that they came from an antique dealer in Aqaba matches your story very well since Aqaba is very close to Sinai. Much appreciated . Br
  • I have seen them described as horn too in Morocco, not sure if that is correct.

  • I have seen similar beads from Mali and they were supposedly water buffalo horn.
