  • Very unusual.  Is this a fairly small piece? It looks like a tumar but it might be an eginlik ... which can be sewn to a sleeve and worn on the upper arm. Does it have loops on the other side for stitching? I have never seen one of these before. It certainly has hajj beads ... many of them :))

  • Dear Thelma; Many thanks for your comments. No, this is not a small piece. The Tumar is 20cm wide! Furthermore, it is quite heavy and cannot be mounted on cloth. With kind regards. Peter
