i love this wood.i never loved some material like this. it is amazing feeling to work with. i like it not finished and not polished. next time, i ll try it with gold. i m sure, it will be verry nice. expensive too ;-(

But Tuaregs are not supposed to use gold..........(Have you read Ibrahim Al Kuni's The Magi -Les Mages, Al Majus- (he is a Tuareg Libyan writer who used to live in Switzerland) and a lot of the book deals with the symbolism of gold........Anyway a lot of people in Germany wont know this and I am sure they will love it
yes, they do not use it,they say it brings unlck and bad. i will not do it in tuareg lewelry. some thing different and more wood than gold. as i said, one piece only and not for sale
Are there acacias on the Assekrem? I went there a long time ago when I was young and cant remember many trees. Watched the most beautiful sunset that I ever saw in my life.
there is a kind of acacia in assekrem, this one i like. aroound 300 trees, they are protected. if one dies, the artisanat people get it from cultur administration in tamanrasset to work with. now they are planting new ones.i just sent some barcelona photos. i have a video with touareg music from barcelona too but i could not send it
