Silver amulet from India or Afghanistan

This has the original cotton strand with a silk tassel on the end. It is easy to wear, but makes a bold statement. In high grade silver. I have seen this design credited both to India (Oppi Untracht), Afghanistan (various Afghan importers), and recently a similar version to Uzbekistan (Halter.)
