larger are newer production, purchased in Morocco, smaller were purchased from Sarah who I am sure has more information! :-)

    I am followingthis  with interest ..! (because I have a similar strand,  it was confirmed that they were produced in Mali.  I have no idea, would be interesting to get more information).

    Sorry, I am talking about the strand with the bigger pearls, with Alu in between the wood.

    it is very well possible, that some are produced in Morocco, as well as others (looking the same) in Mali.

    I purchased some of the larger in Djenne, Mali during the 1990's. Mine were made in Mali.

    south mali and niger production. burkinafaso,seneagl and mauritania too. even benin
