MAROCCO, Aiacha l'hliya, parure temporale asimmetrica. Il lungo pendente era portato dalle donne hartania, schiave nere del sud Marocco. Da una parte un grande arco d'argento con perle d'ambra, dall'altra un doppio meandro che simbolizza il serpente e si ritrova in molte antiche civiltà saheliane.

  • The pendant to the left is from the Bani mountains. I do not think the little dangle khamsas are original. It is often worn on the head at the end of a string of beads.

    It is a peculiar talisman called " that who makes children live in the shape of a female snake"
