  • Does this style "box, pendant" have a particular name?  Thanks in advance :)

  • I believe these pendants may come from the Horn of Africa, worn by Reshaida or local Bedouin people, very simple, relatively light and made from low silver content. I don't know they name only heard them referred to as amulets or charm cases.
  • Interesting Patricia  I thought these were Afghani? - The photo might be deceiving - they are about 4" across and down ands 4mm thick.  I seem to remember a "prayer" box of some sorts - but do not remember the details....thanks for your info.
