Thank you much apppreciated
Dear Mohamad: I was just able to get the details of this book, which are as follows:
Disappearing Treasures of Oman:
A Fascinating Story and Guide to
Antique Bedouin Artefacts
by Avelyn Forster
In my humble opinion, this is the best book I have ever come across about Omani jewelry. By the way, Tarek has the book signed by Mrs Avelyn Forster and refers to it a lot.
Have a great evening.
Peter
Hopefully will find a copy of this
All the best
Avelyn Foster's book is very nice but does not have so many examples of Oman jewelry. Oman adorned has many pictures. But the pictures of people that do wear the jewelry are no "field-photos" but pictures of models used to wear the items. That is a pity!
A very nice set you have got!
