  • Beautiful, charming, and warm.  Congratulations!  Did you photograph this piece, Peter?

  • Dear Lynn; Many thanks for your message. Yes, I photograph all my pieces. I should have a professional photographer and most importantly a special camera to take photos for this purpose. I will arrange this but will need the appropriate time and assistance. I have a lot to be photographed... With kind regards. Peter
  • The reason I asked is that it's a very sympathetic arrangement and consequently a beautiful photograph.  :)  I think I can tell when it is your photo vs. a dealer's photo.  Your love of the pieces comes through.

  • I agree: lovely picture of a lovely item!

May I ask about the pendant's measurements, Peter?

    Betty

  • 2506022937?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024Dear Betty and Lynn; Many thanks for your comments. The pendant measures 5x4.5cm. Please find above a photo of a silver tabaco egg, which I have purchased during my first trip to Indonesia in Sumatra 32 years ago. The similarity of the two items' design is amazing isn't it? With kind regards. Peter

  • Thank you, Peter! The Indonesian tobacco egg is lovely. Indonesian silver is quite sth., but rather rarely seen here. Thanks for posting it. Regards, Betty

  • I have a Bulgarian friend here by my side at the moment. She suggests that the container is actually a Bulgarian snuff container. Do you think that`s possible, Peter?

Both items seem to have an affinity with betel and lime containers.

  • Dear Frankie; Many thanks for your message. This is very much possible. I guess, it is the same anyway but just differently explained. The perfume would have been for others, the snuff container would be for the wearer only... There are two holes at the top. Thank your friend for the input - it is very much appreciated! With kind regards. Peter
