Necklace - Bulgaria

This is a gorgeous bead necklace with some beautiful Ottoman coins. I bought this piece from Bulgaria but looking at the head cover, a photo of which I have just posted, it is featuring the same type of beads. They are displaying great together. Maybe Jean-Marie can help?

    I sent the picture to a Bulgarian friend of mine, who is specialist on Muslim ethnography in Bulgaria.  She identified the necklace as Pomak (Bulgarian Muslim), from the Krumovgrad region (Eastern Rhodopes, Kardzhali province, southern Bulgaria).  With kind regards, JM.

    2506036217?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024My Bulgarian correspondent sent me a picture of women in traditional festive costumes from the Krumovgrad region, featuring the beadwork necklaces.  Recent production do not have coins anymore, obviously.  Kind greetings, JM.
