The beautiful piece is made from coral, amber, glass, mother of pearl and silver beads. A rare beauty!

    This is a beautiful necklace Peter. Am glad that such a rare piece is in good hands. I am always facinated with this kind/shape coral which is widely used in the southern part of Palestine. I will try to share my collection soon. Br, Sami

    Picture80723.jpgDear Ingrid, these necklaces were worn by women in southern Palestine, for example Beersheba.  Here is a photo of two Bedouin women wearing similar necklaces.
