This once came in a lot with Weat African and Asian pieces which I acquired only because on one particular piece I really wanted. Maybe someone knows more about this type of pendant...?

  • Beautiful mystic piece Betty, and of such deep color copper.  I would place it in West Africa, Mali?  But just guessing, it just carry the atmosphere of those mystic items of the Dogon people?  Looks like a top of a ceremonial stick? Gr. Ingrid.

  • Yes, I like the patina, too, Ingrid. West Africa would also be my guess, but it's to small to be the top if some ceremonial stick, I guess. I forgot to say that it is only around 2 inches long. Regards, Betty
