  • Wow, beautiful patina on these. I see several pairs too. A very nice collection.

  • Impressive. They look solid. What do all these knobs stand for?

  • WOW!! How fantastic!! I'm drooling at the sight of them :)
  • Love them! Great collection! nice photo!

  • nice beautiful motive in view. it looks like the old model.

  • Thanks everyone for showing your appreciation!

Ingrid, yes, these are all good solid silver, with the 5 on the left being the heaviest and easily weighing over a 100 grams each. The 3 on the left are called Mizam and are favoured by Mauritanian women, but I'm not sure about the function of the soldered beads of different shapes.

  • impressif collection, nice authetic pieces.

the pair in the left is almost the same in the all sahara ( not sahel ) from mauritania until lybia. the hoggar and akakus tuareg women love them and wear them dayly.

the left first 3 ones are more mauritania, west sahara ,south marocco and a little in tuat ( algeria ).

all this bracelets are the step between the spikes ( defence bracelets ) and the flat ones.

here a foto of semilar ones i purshassed in Hoggar
