  • You are right, could it be that the belt you posted underwent some "arrangements" by middle eastern former owners or dealers?!

  • Dear Ala'a; Many thanks for your message. As mentioned, I have seen the same (pretty much identical - with different Niello designs though) with another collector. However, she did not know the very exact origin either. Hence, the belt has not been tampered with - it is a traditional design. With kind regards. Peter
