The engraved patterns remind me a bit of Tuareg designs. Lovely piece.
Yeah very similar to saharan paterns in general. Don't forget that Kabyle speak a type of berber that is closely related to that of south moroccan one and thus old ties between saharan berbers and kabyle do exist even if ethnically they seem distant
