Please have a look at the two photos of Palestinian Head decorations. There are many similarities. Of course, the Ottoman Empire inspired the jewelry of the Levant and hence also Palestine. I would therefore give your lovely ornament an Ottoman origin.

Thank you Peter and Lynn. The Palestinian head decorations certainly have things in common with this pendant. The ring decoration on the back especially. It's great Peter that you have a wide variety of Palestinian jewelry. It is an interesting less known area.
