  • A lovely arrangement, you did a great job.  I also am inspired by Ukrainian jewelry.  There is currently a lot of the old coral being sold on eBay due to the worldwide rise in coral prices but it is very expensive!! I think the small fluted beads are from southern Pakistan and northern India rather than Turkoman.

  • Thank you Lynn. Yes the coral was to expensive for me but I think the glass beads work well and there are som older Polish necklaces of a similar kind that use glass or other artifcial material instead of coral. The silver beads were sold as Afghan so that matches quite well with your suggestion.

  • Yes there are also old Ukrainian necklaces which use glass or salmon-colored ceramic as well.  Here is one.  fec37536c730339e41c2956c76f3ed02.jpg
