Lovely little crosses, are intricately worked. The two hinged ones next to the coin are new designs for me. Amazing pieces.
Hi Betty, They are rather free spirited designs. Like the one upper right. I do have several of them, I suspect them to be connected with the leather crosses with are braided and twirled. The bottom one could be a mixture of the David star with the Maltese cross. As those two are intermingled like the Axum crosses often in the upper part hold David star or Maltese cross suggestions. Remember Ethiopia is connected through Sheba and Solomon. Gr. Ingrid.
Lovely crosses of your vast collection! I like them all, but I mostly like the one bottom right, which somehow signifies to me the "classical" Ethiopian cross.
