  • I think that these were made for the tourist trade and come from the province of Bahia.  The charms represent local industries.  This one has particularly nice examples.

  • I have seen a similar type of collection worn by an  Chillian or Colombian lady ,on a long chain, 20 years ago she told me that was a traditional one worn in her country.

  • Made for tourists or not, I think it's a fascinating piece and we usually don't see that many pieces from the Americas. Love it!
