    materials gere are: coral, silver and gilded silver. As far as I know, Hadramout is the only region in Yemen where they use gilded silver. And to some effect indeed!

  • grazzie Karim, I didn't knew about this hadaramaout  speciality, but in any way those big  gilded beads are wonderful, especially the 3 at the center, they look like they were centuries old
  • actually I don't know... I thought perhaps 100 yrs. Never easy to tell!
