these are not proper earrings because they hang by the chain that joins them, so that they decorate the sides of the head... they are way too heavy even for them! This particular style was made by the ElAndalus (jewish) silversmths of S.Morocco. You have several variations (non-jewish) of this traditional adornment of the Berber, including another enamelled pair (with no chain) that I am showing here. Best K
