the front strip is a woven fabric.. As I believe is the overall headdress...
I have never seen one like this...I suspect these are fabric elements combined into this form.
One of the extravagant jewish headresses of south morocco.
Basically the two elongated volumes called "Grounes"/ Horns are wollen made.
Morocco has been called the "WIG" country relating to the abundance of styles of local jewish ladies: Married orthodox jewish ladies were meant to cover their hair.
Frome the very elaborate TAHALA silver filgreed wigs to the much more simpler ones of lower draa valley made of ostrich feathers.
Very biblical!
