This necklace is said to be from Iraq and certainly is not very old. Its made of metal chains and silver-plated copper. What intrigued me about it were the beads. They are made of a kind of plastic, but hand cut and with a most wonderful swirls of colour. I wonder if someone may know more about them ...

Beautiful necklace with very nice filigree. The beads represent nice colour gem stones even if artificial. It is a nice piece.
