Ethiopian Hairpin - 1

old (before 1945), silver, was once guilded,double sided (both sides decorated the same), size of the round 1,8 x 1,8 cm,length of the pin 11 cm, seen from the side, 2 dangles missing

    I just had the flowers here, so they offered me to use them as background (yes, they were smiling at me....!).

    @Thank you Thelma. No, I only got this one today.

    But in summer, when it is hot, I will put up my hair and try to wear some of my hairpins!

    Great find, Eva! What a lovely piece. 11cm is also a great length for actually wearing it. I very often use a single hairpin to put up may hair (unfortunately I have only  one very simple Ethiopian silver pin) because it's so easy and convenient. I am sure this one will look great when worn.
