Ann, what a beautiful ... and surprising ... photo! Where was it taken? It looks as if it might be evening somewhere in Morocco.
Yes, Sarah it was after Agdz and Ouzazatte and around Zagora, but before Taroudant.
What was the name of the place? Absolutely fascinating wasn't it?
I can't tell you the name of it, hope Sarah knows, but it wasn't really on the list for visiting and was unexpected. It was an incredible old old fort and we walked around it for about 2 hours. It was in the Draa Valley on the way to Taroudant.
Hey Ann, this was at Tamnougalt It was a suggestion by our woderful driver, and not a tourist destination at all, the villagers are moving back intot he ruined Kasbah, and re building it traditionally piece by piece. I will up load some video of the place
