Hi Dave, this is Multan enamel, from Pakistan. This looks as though it was made for export based on the link-style. Frankie Carter, another member here, has a similar piece posted.
Do you have any idea of the age or value thanks
True value lies in the eye of the owner. One was on offer on eBay a while ago for US $99, though that is no indicator of worth. I just looked at the back of these plaques and am 100% sure that this was made for export, probably during the latter part of British colonial area in South Asia. They are marked with what is probably the name of the silversmith's shop and the name of the city, Mooltan, where they were most likely produced.
