This is beautiful Ingrid. It is not only nice looking and attractive to wear but also very valuable being in gold. Decoration on the beads are very nice and delicate. So is the combination of colours of yellow 'gold colour' and the nice beads in brownish?... Very nice piece congratulations Ingrid.
Thank you Mustafa for your compliment. I love combining traditional with my own taste. So it makes it more fersatile. The red brown are red amber from Ethiopian and faux amber from Germany(1920?) and the floral are old mille fiori beads (Italy) but collected from between old necklaces of Ethiopia.
Gr. Ingrid.
wonderful! I have only seen it today, am not so often on Ethnic Jewels anymore......not due to lack of interest, but am too busy. But I always look from time to time........... beautiful items, splendid material!
Thank you Eva, always nice to receive appreciation. The material is the Ethiopian hand woven stole, shamma, as well as the dress. Thank you Eva.
