A wonderful jewel that you are lucky to own! I particularly enjoy the artistic balance of this piece. For example, on the outer loop initially the ridged section is very small vs the smooth wire, and then as the loop curves the riding becomes dominant. Wonderful proportions, material, and master smith work.
Wonderful piece. So nicely and professionally crafted. The stones in it are original gems and corals, which adds to this rare item value. Congratulations for this piece.
Thank you, Lynn and Mustafa: I am really glad you like this piece, of which I am also very fond myself. You both make very perceptive comments! I love the composition of the design, the pleasing proportions, the fine and intelligent workmanship and the distribution and colour of the stones. As well - though we find that a secondary consideration - the piece, though documented, is not one that appears to be for sale very often, and at least in that sense seems to be quite rare.
