The bracelet in the Byzantine style.The Balkans (Bulgaria or Greece), the territory of the former Ottoman Empire, 19th - early 20th centuryBillon (Alloy of silver, which was minted in the Ottoman coins (a silver content of 45%)), casting, engraving, remnants of silvering.On the front side of the image of a Greek cross.Internal size - 61/47mmbetween the open ends - 31mmWidth center - 32mmWeight - 74g.A very ancient form of bracelets, leading to the origin from Byzantium.Apparently the bracelet is made at the end of the 19th century, after the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire.Inside the bracelet is hollow, soldered from two cast elements.Literature: 1.
