  • one hardly comes by this quality on the market now. I was lucky to have been able to sell pieces offered from hard work of dealers accessing good collections and buying in the field for years. Working with dealers that always offered the best quality makes it easier to find things however everyone now is having trouble as the items are running dry now.

  • Yes, I agree - this is excellent. Travelling from Australia to Europe we very often have seen good Nonya jewellery, for some decades now, either in Singapore or Malaysia, and I feel very familiar with these pieces. This one would now be exceptionally good on any score, and even 20 years ago it would not necessarily have been "better" than others in gold, but to my mind in better taste, as so many I have seen have been very cluttered and over the top.
