Do you have the little book Silver Speaks by Joyce Diamanti? In this book is a ring from Oman on page 14. It is done in the same style; it's ftom Oman.
I too think it is from Oman, ayis. The Yemeni work is usually yet finer than this, with more detailed and minute granulation, and this tendency to have several parallel bands is also typical of Omani jewellery. I feel fairly confident that Johanne and I are right. And I endorse her commendation of *Silver Speaks" - a small volume, but it has excellent pieces in it and scholarly comments.
