  • It seems a beautiful belt, Peter, but why does it have such a bluish tinge all over? Is that just the way the light was when you took the photo?

  • Dear Joost. Yes, this is the light when I took the photo. Also, the belt is tarnished. Once cleaned, it will look gorgeous and also the gilded parts will show much better. With kind regards. Peter
  • Spectacular belt!  I absolutely love the little crown shape on top with the tiny cross.  Congratulations Peter!!

What kind of method do you use to clean your pieces?

  • Dear Lynn; Many thanks for your message. I use something like a soap stone which is biodegradable. One washes the item and then applies the foam of the soap with a sponge before washing the foam off with water. I usually clean my items after purchase but afterwards I only use a cloth to keep the items shiny. With kind regards. Peter
